This poem was featured in the Winter Solstice issue of The Wheel. I was very excited.
gently brushing my hair back
as any lover would
lifting my hair from my neck
kissing me there.
harder now, shifting my clothes
soft fingers touching my skin
pushing away the clouds in my mind
sending chills through my body
seeking, exploring, learning
reminding me that
of all the lover's i've had
this was the first.
the first to touch me this way
to make me yearn for more
always beside me
inside me
caressing me
touching me.
like no other ever will
as no other can.
i welcome the Wind into my soul.

- singers for life
- teardrop on a rose
- time to go
- tomorrow's sadness
