1.Your real name and where you live. Shannon, Ohio USA
2.How long have you been spinning? Since April ‘08
3. Do you spin on a wheel, spindle or both? Which is your favorite? Spindles since April, Wheel since July. I love them both.
4. What is your favorite yarn to spin (singles, 2 ply, Navajo ply, etc)? I think it depends on what I’m going to make. Lately it’s been the 2-ply.
5. Do you like art yarns? I think some of them are pretty to look at, but I can’t imagine using them.
6. What are your favorite colors? Jewel-tones, Autumns & naturals 
7. Which colors do you not like? Neon, military green
8. Do you have any fibers you don’t like (not allergies, just don’t enjoy them)? So far I like all the natural fibers I’ve been able to spin except Icelandic & cotton.
9. Is there a particular fiber(s) that you would like to try? Some of the vegetable fibers – Hemp, Cotton, Bamboo… maybe silk (I know it’s not veggie)
10. Do you like spinning roving, batts, or locks? Most of my experience has been with roving, I’m still practicing with batts and haven’t tried locks yet. Oh, and I don't like silk hankies

11. What is the most challenging fiber you have spun? Cotton.
12. What fiber is easiest for you to spin? BFL & Boogie’s Corriedale (had a heck of a time with someone else’s)
13. What type of things to you knit/crochet/weave with your handspun yarns? Lots of socks, and a few bags.

14. Any allergies (fiber, pet, smoke, etc)? No allergies, but I abhor smoke. I also have 3 cats.
15. List 5 of your favorite foods/drinks/snacks.
- Fresh fruits & veggies
- Good, dark chocolate (Dagoba, Black & Green, etc)
- Ginger snaps (who knew?)
- Tequila Rose & cream
- Strong, sweet, creamy coffee (fair trade)
16. List 5 things about yourself we we’d be surprised to know.
- I only like wearing silver, but I like the way gold looks on my daughter.
- Sometimes I dream the future.
- Once in a while I miss the southwest.
- I want to walk the trail Mary Ingles took to get back home (well, most of it, since some of it is developed property.)
- I changed my surname to one that has nothing to do with any family names.
17. Do you collect anything? Not really. I guess you could say I collect unusual houseplants. (I currently have a banana tree, orange tree, pine, & coffee plants)
18. What non-fiber hobbies do you enjoy?  Beadwork, gardening, making castile soap, making herbal remedies, reading, Tarot, photography, Reiki
19. Are there any spinning gadgets you’re lusting after? Not so much the spinning stuff, but I’d love a nice shawl pin or stitch markers.

• order the same thing every time I go to Subway (whole wheat bread, turkey breast & ham, cucumbers, tomatoes, jalapenos, banana peppers, onions, spinach and pickles
• don't really like seafood, but love grilled shrimp from Casa Fiesta (a restaurant) and now scallions
• don't drink beer, but love mixed drinks
• have never had a hangover
• had the chicken pox twice
• took the SAT when I was 13... and passed

There are few musical artists I do not like. With that being said, I will say I don't care for rap, some hip-hop and classical. Umm... and headbanger stuff. If I began a list of all the artists I have on my computer, it would list over 300 so I won't be putting them on here.
